Orchid is Named After Givaudan Scientist

A recently-discovered orchid species, Coryanthes kaiseriana G. Gerlach, was partially named after Dr. Roman Kaiser of Givaudan. Dr. Guenter Gerlach, a renowed specialist for neotropid orchids, dedicated the species to Dr. Kaiser in recognition of his outstanding research in the field of orchid scents, Givaudan executives said.
